The Coalition developed in 2003 when a group of Marshall County citizens recognized the need to combat substance abuse and rallied together to take action. Comprised of representatives from local law enforcement agencies, businesses, schools, non-profit agencies, and concerned citizens, the Anti-Drug Coalition collaborates with various sectors of the county to help keep the community safe and drug free.
Meetings
The Marshall County Anti-Drug Coalition meets quarterly and our three branches (Youth, Policy, Outreach) meet monthly. Meeting dates differ for each branch of the coalition. Please contact Cathyrn Cochran at mcfrn.outreach@comcast.net for meeting dates.
Meetings are held at noon every month in the Marshall County FRN's office located at 1501 Second Street, Moundsville, WV. All community members, young and old, who are interested in helping to reduce substance abuse in our county are welcome to attend.
For further information, contact the Marshall County FRN at 304-845-3300.
