The Anti-Drug Coalition will be showing the video "This Place" on Friday, August 29 at the opening pep rally for Cameron High School. "This Place" is a 15 minute film produced by the Face Project and dramatically captures today's youth drinking culture by showing the alcohol-saturated environment kids are exposed to and the impact of underage drinking. The video also offers a glimpse into communities that are taking action to reduce alcohol problems.

Calling All Dragons!
The Coalition is interested in hearing the comments of those Cameron High School's administration, teachers, and, most importantly, students that viewed the video.
What did you think?

I was totally amazed at how quiet and focused the students were at this assembly. The day was buzzing with anticipation for the opening football game against a big rival as well as plans for a long weekend. I'm sure they entered the gym with watching this movie as the last thing they anticipated or wanted to see. This was an excellent idea and kudos go out to the Marshall County Anti-Drug Coalition for doing this and to Mr. Jack Cain for allowing it to happen.
This was a great school opener!
As a student watching this video, I was amazed.
I love how the video was put together, and the reality of it all.
I think it was a wonderful idea to show this to CHS.
The film was full of information and opened my eyes to how much underage drinking there is.
